Quicksoft (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Romanian data-protection law, and applicable US privacy laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We are based in Romania and serve customers worldwide, including the United States.

Who we are (data controller)

What we collect

  • Identity & contact data: full name, email address and phone number you enter at checkout.
  • Order data: the product purchased, price, currency, and the license/activation details we send you.
  • Payment data: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number — Stripe handles payment data under PCI-DSS. We receive only confirmation of payment and limited billing details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/user-agent and cookies used to operate the site, prevent fraud and measure performance.

Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To perform our contract with you — delivering the license, support and receipts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Legal obligation — invoicing, tax and accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security and improving our service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Consent — optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Sharing your data

We share data only with processors that help us run the store: Stripe (payments), our email/delivery provider, and our hosting provider. We never sell your personal data. As we operate from the EU and serve the US, some data may be processed in the EEA, the US or elsewhere under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by Romanian tax law (generally up to 10 years). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email contact@quicksoft.shop. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

US residents (including California)

If you are a US resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@quicksoft.shop; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
